Magdalene, Swordsman, Vision and Deathcry arrive in Scotland to investigate their remote tracking station. They meet up with a Shi'ar warrior legend called T'kyll Alabar and he tells them of his greatest victory against an enemy leader of a race called the Mephisitoids and how he was exiled with him to prevent his evil from ever rising again. Unfortunately, the Mephisitoid has escaped and has put an entire Scottish village under his control. Swordsman and Magdalene fall under the influence of the Mephisitoid and help capture the Vision.
