Here are the plot summaries for both:
​1. "I've Been in the Desert with an Orb with No Shame"
​Main Character: Hawkeye (Clint Barton)
​The Plot: Having just escaped the "Dome of Life" (from the previous issue), Hawkeye find himself stranded in the scorching Mojave Desert with his enemy, The Orb (Drake Shannon). After a brief fight, they realize they have to work together to survive the trek back to civilization.
​The Twist: They eventually reach a small town, which the Orb believes is his own gang’s hideout. However, it turns out the "bikers" there are actually Plantman's simulacrums (living plant-creatures) in disguise. The creatures attack both of them.
​The Ending: Out of trick arrows and exhausted, Hawkeye is saved at the last minute by Wonder Man and Hank Pym, who tracked his distress call. This issue notably marks the final appearance of this version of the Orb.
​2. "Comedy of Eros"
​Main Character: Starfox (Eros of Titan)
​The Plot: Starfox travels to the planet Rescorla, a world with an incredibly repressed and xenophobic culture where any public display of emotion or "sin" is met with violence.
​The Mission: He is there to rescue an old flame, Heater Delight, who has been sold into slavery. To avoid detection, Eros pretends he is a "customer" looking to buy her.
​The Escape: After "purchasing" her, his influence over the sellers is discovered, and they are surrounded by an angry mob. Since a forcefield prevents him from flying or teleporting, he uses a massive, Hulk-like super-leap to reach his starship and escape the planet with Heater.
